Withdraw to your RIB: timing and tracking

You will be able to move your PayMeDaba balance to any bank account in Morocco, with no fee. Here are the conditions, the timing and how to track it.

Before your first withdrawal

Add a valid RIB

A Moroccan RIB has 24 digits:

  • 3 digits: bank code;
  • 3 digits: city code;
  • 16 digits: account number;
  • 2 digits: RIB key.

Copy it from your statement or your banking app. The RIB key is checked automatically, so a typo is caught before saving. Use an account in your own name. You can save up to 5 bank accounts.

Make the withdrawal

  1. Tap Withdraw on the home screen.
  2. Pick the bank account.
  3. Enter the amount (50 MAD minimum).
  4. Confirm with your PIN.

The amount leaves your balance and the transfer is processed within 24 to 48 business hours. More on the bank withdrawal page.

Tracking, and if it is late

The status shows in the Activity tab and a notification tells you how it is going. Timing counts business hours: a withdrawal made on a Friday evening or the day before a public holiday may only arrive on the next business day.

If the bank rejects it (closed account, different holder), the full amount goes back to your PayMeDaba balance. If nothing has arrived after 48 business hours, email support@paymedaba.com with your @username, the date and the amount.

Frequently asked questions

How long until the money reaches my bank account?

The transfer is processed within 24 to 48 business hours. Weekends and public holidays do not count.

Is there a fee to withdraw?

No, withdrawing to your bank account has no fee. The minimum is 50 MAD.

Why do I need to verify my identity to withdraw?

Bank withdrawals are only for accounts verified with a CNIE and a selfie. This protects your money and helps fight fraud.

What if my RIB is wrong?

A typo is usually caught by the RIB key check. If the bank still rejects the transfer, the full amount comes back to your balance.
